Vulnerability Researcher (Cybersecurity)

Location: Onsite in Annapolis Junction, Maryland; applicants must reside in the United States at the time of application.

Salary: USD $114,110–$228,211 per year

What you will do

• Research vulnerabilities in hardware components, software applications, and operating systems.
• Debug software, troubleshoot crashes, and analyze program flow to uncover security flaws.
• Perform source code analysis and document the impact and severity of findings.
• Develop and demonstrate proof-of-concept exploits against research targets and prototypes.
• Present technical research results to diverse audiences and support classified national security missions.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
• At least 5 years of technical experience and a bachelor's degree in computer science, a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of production programming experience in Assembly, C, C#, C++, Perl, or Python.
• Demonstrated hardware or software reverse-engineering experience.
• Experience creating and delivering technical presentations to diverse audiences.
• Applicants must reside in the United States at the time of application.

• Experience discovering previously unknown vulnerabilities across multiple versions of similar technologies.
• Strong interest in innovative vulnerability research and creative solutions to complex cybersecurity challenges.
