What you will do

• Develop and maintain purpose-built Linux distributions for reliable embedded hardware.
• Design and implement DevOps solutions for automotive-grade embedded systems.
• Conduct research and proof-of-concept development for communication, security, and edge computing technologies.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to improve functional and non-functional aspects of platform components.
• Produce high-quality, tested, and efficient code following industry standards.
• Participate in enabling Mining 4.0 initiatives using Intellimine Sinergy Solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with Embedded Linux Systems, Device Drivers, and Board Support Packages.
• Experience building and customizing Yocto, Debian, buildroot, or similar distributions.
• Excellent coding skills in C/C++, Python, Rust, or Java.
• Knowledge of GNU/Linux internals and kernel development on x86 or ARM platforms.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, and Git Flow branching strategies.
• Knowledge of container solutions like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Advanced understanding of TCP/IP and networking protocols.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and Agile development.
• Core programming knowledge in multi-threading, memory profiling, and debugging.
