What you will do
- Act as the primary bridge between Art and Engineering teams for seamless asset integration into Unity.
- Architect and maintain art asset pipelines and develop custom tools and scripts using C# or Python.
- Optimize performance for iOS and Android by managing memory budgets and profiling assets.
- Design and implement high-quality, performant VFX, specializing in particle systems and post-processing.
- Develop and maintain custom shaders and materials using HLSL/GLSL to achieve the game's visual style.
- Create and document technical art standards and asset creation guides for the production team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Technical Artist in the game development industry.
- Expert proficiency with Unity, including rendering pipelines, profiler, and memory management.
- Expertise in real-time VFX, specifically Shuriken and VFX Graph for mobile devices.
- Strong programming skills in C# or Python for editor tools and workflow automation.
- Proficiency in writing and optimizing custom shaders (HLSL/GLSL).
- Deep understanding of 3D tools (Blender, Maya) and mobile platform constraints.
