TL;DR

Staff Graphics Engineer (Gamedev): Developing and optimizing real-time rendering features for an unannounced cross-platform Strategy/MMO title with an accent on mobile performance and GPU-driven pipelines. Focus on implementing advanced rendering techniques like clustered lighting, TAA, and super-resolution across Vulkan and Metal APIs.

Location: Hybrid or Remote (Spain, Ireland, UK, or Portugal). Visa sponsorship available.

What you will do

  • Develop and optimize real-time rendering features for mobile platforms using Vulkan and Metal.
  • Implement GPU-driven visibility, culling, and LOD using clustered/meshlet-based geometry systems.
  • Integrate modern techniques such as clustered/tiled lighting, temporal anti-aliasing (TAA), and super-resolution (TSR).
  • Write and optimize shaders in HLSL, GLSL, and MSL for power-efficient mobile performance.
  • Profile GPU/CPU performance using RenderDoc, Perfetto, and Xcode GPU Debugger.
  • Collaborate with engine and content teams to design GPU memory layouts and render pass optimizations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of graphics programming experience, specifically for mobile platforms.
  • Strong C++ skills for performance-critical rendering code.
  • Solid knowledge of Vulkan and/or Metal APIs.
  • Experience extending or customizing Unity’s Scriptable Render Pipeline (SRP).
  • Understanding of mobile GPU architecture, tiling, and bandwidth constraints.
  • Must be based in or have work authorization for Spain, Ireland, UK, or Portugal.

Nice to have

  • Experience with UE5 Nanite/Lumen or equivalent advanced rendering solutions.
  • Background in custom engine development or low-level rendering systems.
  • Contributions to open-source graphics tools or technical publications.
  • Cross-platform rendering experience beyond mobile (PC/console).
