What you will do

• Conduct market intelligence and research on industry trends and competitor actions to recommend strategic actions.
• Assess organic investment opportunities using strategic and financial capital allocation frameworks.
• Develop financial models to forecast ROI on strategic organic and partnership investments.
• Build and maintain a target pipeline for acquisitions mapped against strategic objectives.
• Perform valuation and financial forecasting for potential M&A targets.
• Manage deal due diligence (financial, commercial, legal, technology) and assist in negotiating transaction terms and integration planning.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in investment banking, Big 4 transaction services, or in-house corporate development.
• Strong grasp of corporate finance, including forecast modelling, valuation, and financing.
• Direct experience with the due diligence process, ideally within financial services or payments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across different functions.
• Must be based in London

• CIMA qualification.
• Exposure to the payments industry.
