TL;DR

Senior CRM Marketing Manager (Braze): Own the end-to-end technical health of CRM lifecycle ecosystem inside Braze, designing complex journeys, data workflows, and automation logic for activation, retention, and reactivation. Focus on Canvas architecture, Liquid scripting, deliverability monitoring, experimentation frameworks, and partnering with engineering for scalable data flows.

Location: On-site in Berlin, 5 days a week in the office

What you will do

  • Own technical health of CRM in Braze: Canvas architecture, Liquid scripting, QA, deliverability monitoring, troubleshooting data flows
  • Design and maintain complex lifecycle journeys (activation, retention, reactivation) with long-term scalability
  • Partner with Engineering and Data teams on custom attributes, events, API triggers, and user segments
  • Build rigorous experimentation framework for multi-touch, multi-channel tests
  • Proactively identify and fix deliverability issues like spam placement, IP reputation, send-time logic

Requirements

  • Based in Berlin for full-time on-site work
  • Braze Power-User: hands-on with Canvas, Liquid scripting, Connected Content, Audience orchestration
  • Systems thinking for CRM architecture, reading API docs, defining events and user schemas
  • Analytical mindset to trace data flow issues beyond surface metrics
  • Experience managing deliverability at scale, fixing spam and reputation issues

  • Prior experience inheriting and structuring messy CRM setups
