TL;DR
Treasury Manager (IRRBB): Managing and governing interest rate risk in the banking book with an accent on balance sheet decisions and regulatory compliance. Focus on behavioral modelling, optionality, and providing expert insight into non-linear banking book risk to senior stakeholders.
Location: Hybrid in Leeds (Wellington Place). Must spend at least two days per week, or 40% of time, at one of the office sites.

What you will do
- Act as a senior IRRBB subject-matter expert for both earnings- and value-based risk.
- Interpret, explain, and challenge IRRBB results and sensitivities for senior partners across Treasury, Risk, and Finance.
- Provide expert insight into behavioural modelling, optionality, and non-linear banking book risk.
- Oversee the quality of IRRBB outputs and provide oversight of models, methodologies, and calibrations.
- Translate complex analysis into decision-focused messaging for senior governance forums and committees.
- Partner with Treasury Risk, Modelling, Finance, Data, and Technology teams to provide constructive challenge.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Treasury, Risk, or Finance within a regulated financial services environment.
- 3+ years of expertise in IRRBB principles, metrics, and UK regulatory frameworks.
- 3+ years of practical experience working with treasury or balance sheet risk models (e.g., IRRBB, ALM, liquidity or capital).
- Sound understanding of model risk management concepts and governance within a regulated banking environment.
- Experience operating independently as a senior technical specialist and influencing decisions through expertise.
- Confidence communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
