Associate Cloud Engineer (Public Cloud)

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid workplace. Existing U.S. work authorization is required, and the role involves traveling to support client projects and shadowing opportunities more than 50% of the time.

Salary: $80,000–$88,000 per year in on-target earnings, including base salary and any applicable target bonus.

What you will do

• Complete a three-month training program focused on public cloud solutions.
• Develop technical and consulting skills through training, certifications, shadowing, and practical experience.
• Contribute to client projects based on skills, interests, and business needs after completing the program.
• Collaborate across teams, build positive relationships, and support successful project delivery.
• Analyze issues, solve complex problems, and recommend innovative technology solutions.
• Manage competing priorities and deliver work to established deadlines.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of cloud solutions.
• Degree in a technical discipline completed by January 11, 2027, or successful completion of a technical bootcamp.
• Ability to communicate effectively, collaborate on teams, think critically, and solve problems proactively.
• Existing U.S. work authorization is required.
• Willingness to travel more than 50% of the time for client projects and shadowing opportunities.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification.
• Microsoft MS-900 certification.
• Google Cloud Engineer certification.
• Prior internship, co-op, or research experience in IT, software, or a related field.
