MVP, Cloud Engineering & Operations (Enterprise Technology Operations)

Location: Irving, Texas, United States; hybrid work environment

Salary: USD 200,000–284,000 annually, plus annual bonus or role-based incentive plan.

What you will do

• Define and execute the global cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, private cloud, and on-premises environments.
• Lead 24×7 cloud operations, reliability engineering, observability, incident response, and continuous improvement.
• Establish FinOps governance, budgeting, forecasting, chargeback, capacity planning, and cloud cost optimization.
• Embed secure-by-design practices into CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, cloud security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Lead and develop a global organization of cloud engineers, architects, operations professionals, and multiple directors.
• Partner with cybersecurity, application development, IT, and business stakeholders while serving as an escalation point for major issues.

Requirements

• 10+ years of IT infrastructure or cloud engineering experience, including senior leadership in large global enterprises.
• Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, hybrid infrastructure, virtualization, networking, storage, and data centers.
• Strong DevOps, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, automation, observability, and SRE experience.
• Experience managing large cloud budgets, applying FinOps, and driving cost optimization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with C-level executives.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; relevant cloud, ITIL, PMP/PgMP, or DevOps/SRE certifications are desirable.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience enabling large language models or AI-driven solutions in an enterprise environment.
• Cloud provider architect, ITIL, PMP/PgMP, or DevOps/SRE certifications.
