Location: Must be based in the USA (specifically CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MA, MD, ME, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA). Must be a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident; no visa sponsorship provided. Note: Candidates cannot reside within the city limits of Chicago.

Salary: $110,000 – $170,000 per year

What you will do

• Drive and scale end-to-end release processes to bring structure and consistency to planning and delivery across teams.
• Manage the execution of production deployment plans, acting as the primary point of contact for issues and escalations.
• Coordinate engineering teams and stakeholders for high-frequency and complex releases.
• Onboard internal customers to the Release Engineering platform and assist with automation requirements.
• Monitor release phase progress using metrics and refine processes to minimize operational risks.
• Oversee all release communications, schedules, and internal documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Program/Project Management experience working with Software Engineering teams.
• Proven track record of managing releases for SaaS or cloud-native platforms at scale.
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices architectures.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and general software engineering practices.
• Familiarity with AWS and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
• U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required.
