2026 Summer Internship - Software Engineering/Data Science (Fintech)

TL;DR

Software Engineering/Data Science Intern (Fintech): Developing and testing software applications and building data pipelines for digital banking solutions with an accent on platform extensions and operational insights. Focus on designing software, analyzing data with Python/SQL, and researching new technologies to improve platform performance.

Location: Hybrid; must be based in or able to work in Austin, TX (requires in-office presence three days per week)

What you will do

• Design, code, and test software applications.
• Analyze and visualize data using Python, SQL, or R.
• Participate in Agile sprints and code reviews.
• Research new technologies to improve platform performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on impactful projects such as platform extensions and data pipelines.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and databases.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available).
• Fluent written and oral communication in English.
