What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain microservices using Python.
• Develop cloud-based software products following industry best practices.
• Build scalable systems, services, and tools for new products handling millions of transactions.
• Scale online services and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with teams on security, reliability, and automation.
• Support testing, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science (mandatory)
• 5+ years engineering experience
• Expert in Python, building complex systems in fintech
• Experience in JVM tuning for performance
• Solid database skills (Postgres, MySQL) and data modeling
• Experience with web frameworks like Flask
• Applicant must be based in NY/NJ/CT
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with agile, automated testing, containerization, microservices, CI/CD, AWS
