What you will do

• Design and manage robust, secure data architectures, pipelines, and services for the organization.
• Collaborate with platform engineers and DBAs to launch solutions for data ingestion, validation, and delivery.
• Transform complex business objectives into scalable technical designs and applications.
• Conduct code reviews and optimize DevOps processes for continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic input to senior management and mentor junior team members.
• Evaluate and integrate modern technology trends into the data service ecosystem.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and cloud data technologies.
• Deep expertise in Snowflake as a core data platform.
• Proficiency in Python and static languages such as C#, Java, or TypeScript.
• Experience with streaming platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases and schema design.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in the financial services industry.
• Advanced technical degree.
• Knowledge of DBT, Fivetran, Airflow, or AWS.
• Testing expertise with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavioral Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience with Numpy, Scipy, or Pandas.
