What you will do

  • Oversee core accounting operations, including general ledger, AP/AR, and payroll, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance.
  • Lead budgeting, financial forecasting, and the development of rigorous cash flow forecasting frameworks.
  • Manage end-to-end production finance for original content, from budget development to final cost analysis.
  • Generate high-quality monthly/quarterly financial reports and scenario analyses to support M&A and strategic initiatives.
  • Serve as a strategic financial advisor to the Senior Management Team and department heads.
  • Evaluate and oversee the implementation of ERP and financial system migrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive FP&A experience, with at least 3 years at the Director level or above.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with strong financial modeling capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite and/or SAP.
  • Must be based in Los Angeles, CA.
  • Background in the media or digital media industry is a significant plus.
