What you will do
- Own application projects from specification and design through development, validation, and deployment.
- Develop hardware and software evaluation platforms to demonstrate GaN performance in real-world conditions.
- Perform in-application validation, characterization, benchmarking, and system-level optimization across Si, SiC, and GaN.
- Translate application and system requirements into product-definition insights with Marketing and GaN R&D.
- Serve as the central technical authority for customers through technical discussions, design reviews, and application analysis.
- Create application notes, reference designs, and technical documentation while collaborating with research institutes, universities, and industry events.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Strong power electronics experience from low voltage through 1200V.
- Hands-on hardware development experience including design, bring-up, debugging, and validation.
- Experience with GaN or SiC, benchmarking, performance analysis, and system-level application/device evaluation.
- Ability to manage hardware and software development end-to-end with a practical, lab-oriented problem-solving approach.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with global customers.
Nice to have
- Understanding of AI and data-center power applications.
- Understanding of motor control, including humanoid robotics.
