Location: Hybrid (London, Moorgate) — 2 days in the office a week

What you will do

• Manage and mentor a small engineering team, setting standards for quality, collaboration, and accountability.
• Remain hands-on in software development, guiding the team through complex technical challenges.
• Collaborate with Tech Leads and the Engineering Manager on technical direction and architecture.
• Partner with Product Managers, QA, and Designers to translate business ideas into delivered outcomes.
• Identify and mitigate delivery risks early to ensure stable project timelines.

Requirements

• Extensive commercial experience with C#, .NET, and .NET Core.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with RESTful API design.
• Practical experience working in Azure cloud environments.
• Strong commitment to code quality, including unit and integration testing.
• Proven ability to mentor colleagues and provide constructive feedback.
• Must be based in or able to work from London on a hybrid basis.
