What you will do

  • Lead engineers in one of three specialized tracks: Data Engineering, DevOps/Platform, or Product Engineering.
  • Manage people and growth through regular 1-1s, performance reviews, and personalized career development.
  • Cultivate a healthy, safe, and transparent team culture where every member can contribute fully.
  • Own the full hiring cycle, from identifying talent gaps to onboarding new starters.
  • Partner with Tech Leads to refine operational processes and remove friction slowing down delivery.
  • Participate in OKR-setting cycles and represent team progress and blockers to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 2-6 years of experience managing engineers.
  • Technical background in a relevant track (Data, Platform/DevOps, or Full-stack/API).
  • Must be based in London, UK to support a hybrid working model.
  • Fluency in AI is required.
  • Proven ability to lead through empowerment and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Data-driven approach to understanding team performance and operational efficiency.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing teams through a company scaling phase.
  • Expertise with high-throughput APIs, data-intensive products, or complex data pipelines.
  • Personal interest in the crypto space and familiarity with the industry.
