Continuous Improvement Manager (Automotive)

What you will do

• Lead plant in lean manufacturing fundamentals and implement total Lean programs compliant with customer expectations and global DOS standards.
• Drive improvements in product/process quality, client relationships, and customer service.
• Direct DOS reporting systems for rapid issue response, corrective actions, and data accuracy.
• Develop and maintain DOS systems to improve plant lean level and ensure compliance with standards.
• Report on facility lean status and utilize division lean staff for compliance reviews.
• Collaborate with DOS Managers on supplier improvements and communicate weekly progress to plant leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing industry preferred.
• Experience with TPS, lean systems (automotive background preferred), manufacturing processes, problem-solving, and lean methods required.
• Detailed knowledge of international lean systems and requirements.
• Master Black Belt or Black Belt Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Six Sigma preferred.
