What you will do

• Own and evolve security standards across the organization to ensure they remain practical and current.
• Configure and optimize security tooling within the AWS environment, including IAM, GuardDuty, and Security Hub.
• Lead security assessments and threat modelling to identify vulnerabilities and drive remediation.
• Partner with engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
• Lead the triage, analysis, and remediation of security alerts and incidents.
• Promote a security-first culture through internal education and secure coding initiatives.

Requirements

• Solid foundations in threat detection, vulnerability management, and secure development practices.
• Hands-on experience securing AWS cloud environments.
• Proficiency with modern engineering tools such as Git, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to independently perform technical security reviews and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Working knowledge of scripting or programming in Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
• Must be able to work within the GMT +2 timezone.
