What you will do

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure secure data gathering, processing, and management.
• Analyze and optimize SQL statements to resolve performance issues in database operations.
• Design secure network architectures, conduct penetration testing, and manage security tools like SIEM and IDS/IPS.
• Integrate security into the development lifecycle with DevOps, IT, and software teams (DevSecOps).
• Implement cloud data security technologies and best practices across AWS, Azure, GCP.
• Report progress and security concerns to the Head of Security Engineering.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, IT, Engineering, or equivalent with 6 years technical experience, or 4 years senior management IT experience.
• CISSP mandatory with ISSEP concentration.
• PMI PMP and ITIL 4 Foundation.
• 10 years enterprise experience in IT/technology, with last 5 years on large government technical contracts/BPAs.
• Deep knowledge of network protocols, OS (Linux/Windows), cloud security, scripting (Python, Bash).
• Ability to work independently with strong communication skills.
