What you will do

• Optimize AWS security configurations including IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, and Amazon Inspector.
• Manage and maintain security tooling such as EDR, MDM, and DLP, ensuring all endpoints follow security baselines.
• Review and respond to SOC provider alerts, investigate incidents, and manage the remediation phase.
• Perform vulnerability management and coordinate patching with IT and DevOps teams.
• Improve and maintain WAF rules and anti-bot protections for application-layer defenses.
• Support access reviews and compliance audits for PCI-DSS, SOC 2, and ISO 27001.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Security Engineering, SecOps, or Cloud Security.
• Hands-on experience with AWS security configuration and monitoring.
• Familiarity with identity management (SSO, MFA) and troubleshooting security agents on endpoints.
• Knowledge of incident investigation and coordination with SOC services.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management processes.
• Must be based in one of the listed cities or be able to work remotely from Europe.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code security using Terraform.
• Knowledge of container security (Kubernetes, Helm).
• Experience automating security tasks with scripts or CI/CD integrations.
• Exposure to SOC 2, PCI-DSS or ISO 27001 evidence collection and audits.
