Security Engineer (SecOps & Cloud)

What you will do

• Improve AWS security configurations across IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail, Amazon Inspector, and related services.
• Manage EDR, MDM, DLP, compliance agents, identity controls, and endpoint security baselines with IT.
• Review SOC provider alerts, investigate incidents, and coordinate remediation through closure.
• Manage vulnerability processes, patching, WAF rules, anti-bot protections, and application-layer defenses.
• Support access reviews, PCI-DSS reviews, recurring security tasks, and security roadmap planning.
• Document cloud and SaaS security configurations and contribute to backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity testing.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Security Engineering, SecOps, or Cloud Security.
• Hands-on experience with AWS security configuration and monitoring.
• Familiarity with EDR, MDM, DLP, identity management, SSO, and MFA.
• Experience managing endpoint security agents and investigating incidents with SOC services.
• Strong understanding of vulnerability management and patching processes.
• Ability to collaborate with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams.

Nice to have

• Infrastructure-as-Code security experience with Terraform.
• Container security knowledge, including Kubernetes and Helm.
• Experience automating security tasks with scripts or CI/CD integrations.
• Exposure to SOC 2, PCI-DSS, or ISO 27001 evidence collection and audits.
• Interest in continuous improvement and security tool optimization.
