What you will do

• Develop and implement the AI strategy and roadmap for the Test & Measurement division across R&D and business operations.
• Drive AI/ML enabled product functionalities from proof of concept to successful market launch.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with company-wide AI initiatives and contribute to the corporate AI strategy.
• Build and govern platforms for efficient AI model use, including data management and agentic AI capabilities.
• Provide strategic advice on digitalization and AI requirements to various business units.
• Ensure effective rollout of AI solutions and exploit synergies within the business unit.

Requirements

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field with an AI/ML focus.
• Deep expertise in modern ML/AI model families (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, Diffusion Models, GANs) and agentic/physical AI.
• Extensive leadership experience managing other leaders within complex technology or digitalization organizations.
• Proven track record of evolving AI and digitalization programs from idea generation to scalable IT services.
• Business fluent English (spoken and written) is required.
• Must be based in or able to work from Munich, Germany.
