What you will do

• Design end-to-end technology solutions and reusable patterns aligned with business goals and commercial product needs.
• Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
• Create detailed architecture models, including UML and context diagrams, to visualize system structures and component interactions.
• Evaluate and recommend new frameworks and technologies to ensure systems remain scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Plan and design integrations between cloud platforms, databases, and third-party healthcare services.
• Collaborate with product management and business stakeholders to analyze functional and non-functional requirements.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US and be able to pass a US Public Trust background check.
• 5+ years of experience in the healthcare domain and 5+ years of progressive experience as an Architect leading enterprise initiatives.
• Proficiency in Java and NodeJS, with deep experience in cloud architecture across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Direct experience working with FHIR 4.x and HL7 2.x/3.x (CCDA) standards.
• Expertise in microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and event-driven systems using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Strong knowledge of security and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA, GDPR, and HITRUST.

Nice to have

• Experience with API management platforms such as Apigee, Kong, or AWS API Gateway.
• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) concepts and clinical data repositories (e.g., Google Healthcare API).
• Industry experience with Videoconferencing and Unified Communications technologies.
• Familiarity with revenue cycle management and payor quality metric management.
