Salary: up to $180K plus 10% bonus and benefits

What you will do

• Specialize in business verticals to provide domain-specific application architecture solutions.
• Recommend architecture approaches for projects and lead design review processes.
• Research and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Develop proofs of concept including analysis, design, development, and documentation.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues like performance tuning and architecture problems.
• Provide thought leadership through mentoring, best practices, and white papers.
• Collaborate on application standards and report to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in technology-related field
• 10+ years in software/IT projects, including 4+ years as full-time architect
• High expertise in Java EE, Spring Boot, application servers (Tomcat, JBoss), messaging (ActiveMQ), databases (RDBMS, NoSQL), Linux/Unix, cloud (AWS preferred)
• Strong knowledge of application security, networking, infrastructure, web/microservices technologies
• Critical thinking for complex problems, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience translating business processes to technical solutions
