TL;DR

Finance Lead (AI Fintech): Build and own the entire finance function from zero for agentic AI platforms automating insurance workflows with an accent on FP&A, cash visibility, investor reporting, and spend governance. Focus on creating decision-making financial models, managing runway across European and US operations, and ensuring compliance during rapid scaling.

Location: Amsterdam (remote-friendly, scaling across Europe and US)

What you will do

  • Own FP&A, financial modeling, scenario planning, and board-level narratives using actionable models.
  • Manage cash flow, burn rate, and runway visibility across European and US operations.
  • Handle payments, accounting, bookkeeping, vendor payments, invoicing, and coordination with external accountants for clean books and compliance.
  • Prepare investor reporting, data rooms, financial schedules, and materials to support fundraising and due diligence.
  • Build FinOps processes and spend governance for cloud infrastructure, contractors, and tooling as headcount scales.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of finance experience, ready to own a function for the first time.
  • Experience building financial models used for real decisions, not just slides.
  • Automation-minded with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or no-code platforms.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, structuring priorities independently.
  • Clear communication with non-finance stakeholders including founders, investors, clients.
  • High-growth startup or scale-up experience, ideally in tech, fintech, or AI.
