Location: Adelaide, Australia; hybrid work from home and office may be considered, with a 9-day fortnight. Interstate travel to CSI-IPT and customer offices may be required.

What you will do
- Perform systems engineering activities for Destroyer Capability Enhancement upgrade packages on Royal Australian Navy platforms.
- Conduct requirements analysis, functional analysis, architecture development, and system design.
- Contribute to combat-system physical integration, design maturation, compartment layouts, and human engineering activities.
- Develop Engineering Change Proposals and design modifications for assigned system changes.
- Review and develop production products, including drawings, cable schedules, and installation instructions.
- Support the resolution of production issues, deviations, nonconformances, and defects while coordinating with customers, partners, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in mechanical, electrical, systems engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Practitioner-level experience in systems engineering, including requirements management, system architecture, systems integration, or verification and validation.
- Meaningful experience in a maritime combat-systems domain.
- Experience balancing complex engineering trade-offs using formal analysis methods in a system-of-systems integration context.
- Experience integrating, testing, and evaluating combat-system products in naval platforms or equivalent complex military systems.
- Must be an Australian citizen and hold or be able to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance at NV1 level, with eligibility to access ITAR/EAR-controlled information.
