What you will do

  • Train internal and external field technical support staff on R&D products and technologies.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry technologies and SEL products.
  • Write service bulletins, application literature, instruction manuals, and data sheets.
  • Develop project use cases, product demonstrations, and product specifications.
  • Establish and perform validation testing, competitive analysis, special studies, and customer tests.
  • Support technical proposals, commercial bids, sales and marketing activities, and industry technical meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of working knowledge of electric power systems, communications, and/or automation practices and philosophies.
  • Strong technical training, speaking, documentation, and writing skills.
  • Ability to learn new skills, take on new responsibilities, and work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel 25%.
  • Satisfactory background check and negative drug test results.
