What you will do

• Lead development and delivery of engine system technologies in line with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and customer needs.
• Translate multi-generation product plans into prioritised engineering activities across short- and long-term horizons.
• Guide technical decision-making, balancing risk, performance, cost, timescales, and ROI.
• Act as technical role model, promoting high-quality engineering aligned with enterprise strategies.
• Monitor industry, regulatory, and technology developments, sharing implications with stakeholders.
• Build relationships across product groups, systems engineering, supply management, and suppliers.
• Lead, coach, and develop an engineering team to build technical capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, computer science, or related accredited engineering discipline.
• Extensive experience in tactical and strategic planning, turning business goals into achievable plans.
• Strong decision-making and critical thinking in complex situations, weighing risks and impacts.
• Technical excellence in engine systems, assessing risks, and resolving complex issues.
• Proven managing people, leading engineering teams, coaching, and ensuring delivery.
