Location: Onsite in Austin, Texas (Nightshift: Tuesday-Saturday, 10:00 PM - 8:30 AM CST)

What you will do

• Monitor critical applications using tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
• Identify alert threshold violations and execute SOP-driven reporting, response, and resolution actions.
• Conduct smart triage to diagnose and provide proactive resolution for application performance problems.
• Assess vulnerabilities and threats to networks and recommend security improvements to management.
• Participate in Major Incident Management and Root Cause Analysis calls to provide expert troubleshooting.
• Provide APM input for daily shift reports and metrics.

Requirements

• Must be based in Austin, Texas for an onsite nightshift position.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or Math with 5+ years of experience (or 13 years total relevant experience).
• Operational experience working in a Command Center activity.
• Extensive hands-on experience troubleshooting complex technical issues in distributed system environments.
• Familiarity with at least two monitoring tools: SolarWinds, Splunk, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or ScienceLogic.
• Ability to pass a Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation.
