Senior Software Engineer, Core Experiences (Kotlin Multiplatform)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA

Salary: $140,000–$200,000 per year, plus bonus and stock depending on experience.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product teams to scope projects, reduce scope for faster customer feedback, and manage integration and UX tradeoffs.
• Deliver solutions through hirify.global’s cross-platform SDK.
• Optimize functionality for faster loading and more intelligent parsing.
• Design efficient abstractions and improve algorithms.
• Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and jobs using Kotlin.

Requirements

• Senior-level software engineering experience with strong systems thinking and end-to-end design skills.
• Ability to work quickly, prioritize effectively, and make pragmatic shipping decisions.
• Strong collaboration and negotiation skills when working with designers, marketers, and product managers.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform; Java experience is acceptable, but the role primarily uses Kotlin Multiplatform.

Nice to have

• Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform.
