Location: On-site in Scotts Valley, USA

Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year

What you will do

  • Own the end-to-end technical execution of the first product launch from concept and architecture through validation and manufacturing.
  • Coordinate roadmaps between power electronics, firmware/software, and systems integration teams to manage interface risks.
  • Lead program planning across hardware design, embedded firmware, controls, reliability, compliance, and supply chain.
  • Partner with technical leads to define product requirements and validation strategies, ensuring design tradeoffs are documented.
  • Facilitate and contribute to architecture, design readiness, and validation readiness reviews.
  • Own engineering BOM strategy and NPI readiness to balance performance, cost, and manufacturability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (power electronics focus strongly preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience leading complex, multidisciplinary engineering programs involving power electronics or hardware-software systems.
  • Strong technical foundation in converter architectures, control strategies, and system-level tradeoffs.
  • Ability to work deeply with firmware teams on control loops, timing constraints, and hardware-software dependencies.
  • Experience driving programs from concept through prototype builds to manufacturing launch.
  • Must be based in or able to work on-site in Scotts Valley, USA

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience designing or debugging inverters, rectifiers, or high-power conversion systems.
  • Proficiency with power electronics simulation tools like PLECS, MATLAB, or Simulink.
  • Experience with UL/IEC compliance for power conversion equipment.
  • Familiarity with Enovia PLM, CATIA, or similar technical tools.
  • Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
