Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 base compensation

What you will do

• Perform day-to-day Linux systems administration across production environments (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Install, configure, patch, and maintain Linux servers and associated infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and resource utilization to proactively address issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operating system, application, and infrastructure-related incidents.
• Support rack-based systems, including hardware checks and coordination of PDUs and PSUs.
• Manage observability stacks using Prometheus and Grafana, including metrics collection and alerting.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on Linux systems administration experience in production environments.
• Strong expertise in Linux installation, configuration management, patching, and performance tuning.
• Experience supporting systems in data center or high-availability environments.
• Solid understanding of system monitoring and log management methodologies.
• Must be based onsite in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Nice to have

• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or GPU-based AI infrastructure.
• Knowledge of security frameworks like NIST, CIS benchmarks, or SOC 2 controls.
• Experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Sentinel.
