TL;DR
Director, Community Investment & Grantmaking (Social Impact): Designing and implementing an equitable grant-making program to expand yoga access and integrate yoga into institutions and policies with an accent on strategic philanthropy and systems-level change. Focus on crafting transparent resource deployment strategies, leveraging data for impact analysis, and building strategic partnerships for social change.
Location: Remote, but must be based in the US and able to work on-site in Arlington, VA as needed
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000

What you will do
- Craft and implement a community-centered, sustainable grant-making program to integrate yoga into public and social sectors.
- Partner with the Head of Social Impact to develop strategies for leveraging institutional resources and advancing advocacy initiatives.
- Manage and delegate project tasks to team members and external consultants.
- Identify and utilize internal/external data and performance metrics to refine the social impact strategy.
- Cultivate relationships with key decision-makers to embed yoga into institutional programs and budgets.
- Collaborate internally across teams to ensure synergy between grantmaking, community engagement, and operations.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience, including 3+ years in strategic grantmaking and systems-level change.
- 5+ years managing complex cross-organizational initiatives and supervising staff.
- 7+ years of experience leveraging data, storytelling, and research to advocate for innovative programs.
- Proficiency with project management and CRM tools (e.g., Monday.com, Salesforce).
- Must be based in the United States and available for occasional nationwide travel and on-site work in Arlington, VA.
- Proven track record in diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA).
Nice to have
- Experience using advocacy or policy to drive sector-wide changes.
- Background in community development and grassroots action for social change.
- Familiarity with the unique needs of yoga professionals outside of commercial studios.
