Salary: $106,000 - $146,000

What you will do
- Develop and execute the Chapter Sustainability Plan to secure annual revenue and long-term growth.
- Secure major philanthropic gifts from corporations, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Oversee local operations, including staff management, volunteer coordination, and budget execution.
- Recruit, develop, and steward a high-performing local Advisory Board.
- Build a robust ecosystem of civic, military, corporate, and philanthropic partners in the region.
- Serve as the chief ambassador and thought leader for military families in public forums and local media.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 7+ years of experience in community development, nonprofit leadership, or strategic partnerships.
- 5+ years of management experience, including direct staff leadership.
- Proven ability to secure six-figure philanthropic gifts.
- Residency in the Colorado Springs metropolitan area is required (or willingness to relocate).
- Experience managing an advisory board or similar governance structure.
- Ability to work nights/weekends for events and travel up to 25%.
Nice to have
- Experience using CRM systems, particularly Salesforce.
- Deep understanding of military culture and the lived experience of military families.
- Existing knowledge of the nonprofit network within the Colorado Springs area.
