TL;DR
Senior Product Manager (xPloration): Lead strategic positioning, product strategy, and go-to-market execution for high-throughput single B cell screening platform with an accent on antibody discovery workflows and customer needs in biotech and pharma. Focus on shaping product vision, developing marketing materials, guiding market expansion, and enabling commercial success through cross-functional collaboration.
Location: Hybrid in Emeryville, CA, office hours 8am-5pm PT, up to 10% domestic and international travel
Salary: From $170,000 to $190,000 per year

What you will do
- Lead product strategy, roadmap development, and lifecycle management for xPloration platform.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand awareness, adoption, and commercial success.
- Create product messaging, value propositions, and marketing materials communicating scientific and business impacts.
- Partner with Sales, Applications, and Field Support for aligned customer experiences and sales enablement.
- Collaborate with Science teams to translate customer insights into product requirements and features.
- Drive market research, competitive analysis, customer feedback, and new product launches.
Requirements
- BSc in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Engineering or related + 8+ years in product management for life science tools, or MSc + 6+ years.
- 5+ years in instruments, automation platforms, or analytical devices.
- Proven success launching and growing life science device products in screening, analytical, or diagnostic technologies.
- Strong understanding of antibody discovery, immunology, or biopharma research workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with R&D, commercial teams, and leadership.
- Exceptional strategic positioning, messaging, value proposition development, and communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
Nice to have
- MBA or advanced degree in Life Sciences.
- Certifications in product management.
- Experience with AI-powered, automation-driven, or single-cell analysis instruments.
- Familiarity with antibody discovery platforms, hybridoma, phage display, B cell screening, or flow cytometry.
- Experience with digital marketing analytics, CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
