Location: Remote based in the USA. Must be U.S. based candidate.

Salary: $161,920 - $202,400 USD

What you will do

• Serve as principal technical accounting authority on complex matters like revenue recognition, equity transactions, leases, and business combinations.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to assess accounting treatment for new products, partnerships, and strategic transactions.
• Establish and maintain comprehensive US GAAP-compliant accounting policies, procedures, and technical memos.
• Lead evaluation and implementation of new accounting standards with impact assessments and cross-functional training.
• Oversee technical accounting documentation for financial statements and drive process automation.
• Present findings to senior leadership and monitor regulatory developments.

Requirements

• 10+ years progressive accounting experience, including 4-6 years in leadership or cross-functional roles.
• Accounting Advisory or National Office experience in Big 4 public accounting firm (highly preferred).
• Deep US GAAP expertise (ASC 606, 842, 718) with experience in complex transactions and high-growth tech companies.
• Experience with multi-national entities, consolidated reporting, and functional currency analysis.
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent required.
• Experience in early/growth stage startups required; proficiency with NetSuite and advanced Excel preferred.
