What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, data-performant API services.
• Develop complex integrations with ad-tech platforms including Meta, TikTok, and Snapchat.
• Lead and optimize asynchronous task management and concurrency using Celery.
• Build and maintain high-availability distributed backend systems and event-driven architectures.
• Own applications end-to-end, addressing both development and infrastructure concerns.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building and scaling services in Python.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• Solid understanding of datastores (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
• Proven experience with distributed systems and background workers, specifically within Azure.
• Experience leading complex feature development for enterprise-level B2B/B2C SaaS platforms.
• Strong communication skills to document systems, explain trade-offs, and influence technical direction.
