What you will do

• Direct a team developing software for a distributed platform, ensuring technical excellence.
• Manage, coach, and develop the team to drive change, accountability, and professional growth.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to translate business needs into technical requirements and roadmaps.
• Lead cross-disciplinary projects involving deliverables from hardware and mechanical engineering groups.
• Drive software engineering best practices and ensure alignment with overall company strategy.
• Provide metrics and regular status updates to senior leadership and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing software development teams with a focus on application development.
• 5+ years of experience building medium to large-scale mission-critical, high-availability production systems.
• Proficiency in Linux development with a good working knowledge of Windows.
• Strong working knowledge of at least two languages: C, C++, C#, Python, or Java.
• Proven experience in embedded systems design using preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or Engineering (MS preferred).
