What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of firmware engineers in a collaborative environment
• Own firmware project execution, priorities, timelines, and delivery across concurrent efforts
• Guide architecture, design reviews, and hands-on support for embedded systems
• Partner with electrical, software, QA/RA teams to align requirements and processes
• Oversee firmware development and documentation compliant with IEC 62304 and ISO 13485
• Improve workflows, tooling, CI/CD, test infrastructure, and regulatory activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related
• 2+ years managing firmware or embedded software engineers
• 3+ years hands-on firmware development in resource-constrained embedded systems (bare-metal preferred)
• Experience in regulated industry (medical device preferred)
• Familiarity with IEC 62304, ISO 13485
• Proficiency in C for embedded systems
• Experience on cross-functional hardware/software teams
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving skills
