Salary: $145,000 - $155,000 USD

What you will do

• Oversee the timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and compliance reports for federal and state agencies.
• Develop automated accounting processes and a robust control and approval framework for external reporting.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and manage all audit timelines and information requests.
• Research and interpret complex U.S. GAAP standards and author technical accounting memos to justify company positions.
• Lead the development and maintenance of corporate accounting policies and implement newly issued accounting standards.
• Collaborate with the FP&A team to ensure consistency between external results and internal management reporting.

Requirements

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship (now or in the future).
• Must reside in one of the listed eligible US states.
• 5-7 years of progressive experience, with at least 3 years in Big 4 Public Accounting or large government contracting.
• Deep and current technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Proven experience researching complex technical accounting issues and writing position memos.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills to collaborate across all levels of the organization.

Nice to have

• Active CPA license.
• Experience in Professional Services, Consulting, or Technology industries.
• Experience with global, multi-entity consolidation environments.
• Familiarity with financial reporting software and control frameworks.
