What you will do
- Lead end-to-end project planning, including scope definition, resource planning, and timeline creation.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
- Partner with technical teams to understand architecture and system dependencies to ensure realistic planning and risk mitigation.
- Track progress across multiple workstreams and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders.
- Identify project risks and cross-team dependencies to develop proactive contingency plans.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes, reporting, and team collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
- 5–10 years of experience as a Project Manager in software development or technical product environments.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and modern SDLC practices.
- Experience with modern software architectures, cloud technologies, APIs, or microservices.
- Must be based in Nova Scotia.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have
- PMP, PMIACP, CSM, or similar professional certifications.
