What you will do

• Lead end-to-end project planning, including scope definition, resource planning, and timeline creation.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Partner with technical teams to understand architecture and system dependencies to ensure realistic planning and risk mitigation.
• Track progress across multiple workstreams and maintain transparent communication with stakeholders.
• Identify project risks and cross-team dependencies to develop proactive contingency plans.
• Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes, reporting, and team collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.
• 5–10 years of experience as a Project Manager in software development or technical product environments.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and modern SDLC practices.
• Experience with modern software architectures, cloud technologies, APIs, or microservices.
• Must be based in Nova Scotia.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• PMP, PMIACP, CSM, or similar professional certifications.
