What you will do

• Oversee the delivery of major software development projects within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, partners, and all project stakeholders.
• Construct detailed project plans, manage teams, and lead cadence and planning meetings.
• Analyze and mitigate risks while managing project finances and SLAs.
• Ensure the team possesses the right skills and delegate activities to hit critical deadlines.
• Handle customer change requests with diplomacy and assertive communication.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of proven track record managing complex software development projects.
• Knowledge and experience of the Banking & Financial Services Industry.
• Must be based in the Espoo or Jyväskylä areas.
• Fluent English proficiency (written and verbal).
• Experience working with customers across multiple project phases, industries, and geographies.

Nice to have

• Project Management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in the Finnish language.
• Experience integrating AI into daily project management workflows.
• Experience in managing vendor relationships.
