TL;DR

Financial Analyst (Finance): Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting for a growing consumer products organization with an accent on actionable financial insights and business partnering. Focus on building financial models, interpreting complex data via PowerBI, and optimizing month-end close processes.

Location: Hybrid (2–3 days per week on-site in the GTA, Canada)

What you will do

  • Deliver recurring and ad hoc financial reporting and refine models to improve efficiency in daily finance activities.
  • Interpret complex financial data using PowerBI to communicate risks and opportunities to business partners.
  • Contribute to the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle by collaborating with functional leaders.
  • Prepare consolidated month-end results, executive-level presentation materials, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Partner with Sales, Operations, and HR to analyze SG&A, margins, and inventory performance.

Requirements

  • Experience analyzing financial data and translating it into actionable business stories for stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in P&Ls, costing, and assessing risks and opportunities within actual and forecasted results.
  • Strong analytical skills with high proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools like PowerBI, Tableau, or Qlik.
  • CPA candidacy is strongly preferred.
  • Must be based in or able to work hybrid (2-3 days on-site) in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
