Junior Healthcare Interior Designer

TL;DR

Junior Healthcare Interior Designer (Healthcare): Support design execution and project delivery for healthcare facility activation efforts with an accent on interior design, FF&E coordination, space planning, procurement, and installation sequencing. Focus on generating design ideas, producing graphics and renderings, implementing sustainability best practices, and managing project resources.

Location: Onsite in Long Beach, CA. Must be a US Citizen.

What you will do

• Support healthcare interior design, FF&E planning, and space planning
• Assist with generating design ideas and participating in design charrettes
• Produce graphics, presentations, renderings, and layouts
• Implement sustainability best practices on projects
• Participate in project meetings and create project binders and material boards
• Manage the Resource Library

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Interior Design or related field; or 1-3 years of relevant experience; or new graduates with internships/practical experience in medical or institutional environments
• Basic knowledge of production software
• Solid oral and written communication skills
• Ability to interact and build relationships with others
• Must be a US Citizen

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in interior design from a CIDA accredited program
• Eligible to take the NCIDQ exam
