Location: Fixed hybrid (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) based out of HQ in Maple Plain, MN. Only open to U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents (green card holders) or foreign nationals granted refugee or asylee status.

Salary: $87,800 - $131,000 a year

What you will do

• Lead generative and evaluative research, including user interviews and usability testing, to validate product direction.
• Design coherent end-to-end experiences for complex workflows such as quoting, configuration, and order tracking.
• Create high-fidelity artifacts including journey maps, service blueprints, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
• Maintain and evolve the design system, ensuring a close gap between design intent and shipped experience.
• Collaborate with Technical Product Managers to frame problems and with engineers to provide clear documentation.
• Mentor mid-level and junior designers through critique and co-working sessions.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or granted refugee/asylee status (due to ITAR regulations).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interaction Design, Product Design, HCI, Cognitive Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in product design.
• Fluency in Figma for design and prototyping.
• Deep understanding of interaction design and systems thinking for complex software.
• Experience planning and running moderated tests and co-design sessions.

Nice to have

• Experience designing for B2B platforms and data-heavy transactional flows.
• Background in service design or systems-level journey mapping.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools like Figma AI or v0.
• Exposure to design operations and scaling consistent quality.
