What you will do
- Lead technical discovery to understand customer challenges, tech stack, and priorities before proposing solutions
- Define and achieve technical close in sales cycles, resolving objections and confirming integration feasibility
- Deliver tailored demos, proof-of-concepts, workshops, and complex eCommerce architectures
- Present executive-level value propositions translating tech capabilities to business outcomes like conversion uplift
- Handle RFPs, security questionnaires, and provide structured feedback to product and engineering teams
- Stay current on AI, commerce trends, and bring insights to customer conversations
Requirements
- 8+ years in solutions engineering, technical pre-sales, solution architecture, or enterprise tech consulting
- Strong technical foundation in cloud architectures, SaaS/API platforms, data/AI/ML (LLMs a plus), payments, omnichannel integrations
- Experience in commerce, retail, payments, or digital platforms strongly preferred
- Discovery instinct, technical credibility, business acumen, and strong communication skills
- Comfortable presenting to technical and executive audiences
- Willingness to travel within region up to 30%
