What you will do

• Lead vendor evaluation, selection, and implementation of a new fraud risk platform.
• Integrate fraud decisioning into core customer journeys in partnership with Engineering and Product.
• Redesign fraud workflows to significantly reduce manual review volume through automation.
• Manage and develop a team of Fraud Analysts, shifting their focus to high-value investigative and analytical work.
• Establish KPIs to measure automation effectiveness, queue reduction, and loss outcomes.
• Document end-to-end fraud procedures to ensure controls are audit-ready and regulator-aligned.

Requirements

• 7+ years in fraud risk strategy, fraud analytics, or fraud operations within fintech or financial services.
• Experience implementing or migrating fraud detection platforms.
• Proven track record reducing manual fraud review through automation and system design.
• Prior people management experience (2+ direct reports preferred).
• SQL proficiency required; Python or similar strongly preferred.
• Must be based in Canada.
