Salary: $160,000 — $246,400 USD

What you will do

• Lead the Finance Data Governance program and administer the Finance Data Governance Council (FDGC).
• Develop policies for data classification, retention, and AI-specific ethics, including bias mitigation and hallucination detection.
• Define Data Domains and assign accountability to Data Stewards within the Finance organization.
• Govern the Data Lineage Framework to ensure source-to-report traceability for critical financial metrics.
• Collaborate with TDI product owners to implement technical governance controls and maintain the Business Data Dictionary.
• Ensure all data practices comply with SOX, GDPR, and emerging AI regulations like the EU AI Act.

Requirements

• 5+ years in Data Governance, Data Management, or Financial Systems.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Familiarity with Finance domains (FP&A, Controllership) and SaaS metrics (ARR, Churn, Net Retention).
• Experience with AI/ML governance and SOX compliance.
• Must be based in or be able to work from San Francisco, CA to meet hybrid office requirements.

• CDMP certification.
• Data engineering or analytics background (SQL, dbt).
