Senior Assembly Planner

What you will do

• Escort planning and implementation of complex production equipment, tools, and assembly systems focusing on general process planning.
• Analyze, conceive, and implement assembly structures and processes.
• Detect potentials for cost and cycle time reduction, assuring processes.
• Develop assembly and test processes, execute FMEAs.
• Develop technical RFQs for equipment and tools, select, design, and source equipment.
• Manage projects including controlling dates, monitoring, and defect documentation.
• Participate in workshops, 3P processes, and ramp-up workshops.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or business administration
• At least 4 years of professional experience, including at an OEM
• Substantial experience in automotive assembly equipment and tools planning (assembly, factory planning, paint shop, body shop, conveyance)
• Project management experience
• Fluent English
• Willingness to travel
• Knowledge of Kanban system

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Ergonomics Standards
• CATIA and Layout HLS
• German A2
