Weekend Lecturer in Health and Social Care (Education): Designing and delivering teaching across Health and Social Care modules with an accent on student success and digital learning. Location: Hybrid. Must be flexible to travel between Central London, Wembley, Kingsbury, Harrow (Rayners Lane) and Southall campus locations

Salary: Up to £28,800 per annum (pro rata for 24 hours/week)

What you will do

• Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in line with curriculum standards.
• Develop and update teaching materials and maintain digital learning platforms.
• Set, assess, and provide feedback on student assignments and exams.
• Support students academically and pastorally, including those with learning support needs.
• Engage with quality assurance processes and contribute to module and programme evaluations.
• Lead specific modules and coordinate with associate lecturers where applicable.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant Health and Social Care-related field.
• Experience teaching in Higher Education with strong digital teaching capability.
• Knowledge of HE quality assurance and validation processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work towards HEA Fellowship.
• Must be flexible to travel between multiple London campus locations.

Nice to have

• PhD (or near completion) or equivalent industry experience.
• Involvement in research or enterprise activity.
• Formal teaching qualification.
• Experience leading modules or academic teams.
